Open Water Courses 2026

Our Open Water Courses follow a set pattern of dates, times and locations

Theory is by eLearning and must be completed prior to the chosen course date of commencement.

Theory revision is by two Zoom sessions on Tuesday evenings from 7pm - 9.30pm. See listed dates below.

Confined Water sessions are held on the first 2 Saturdays of each month in the Barry Leisure Centre from 12Noon - 4pm each day.

Open Water sessions for certifying dives are held at the Vobster Quay - Inland Water site, located between Bristol and Bath.

Requirements

All students must be reasonable swimmers.

We must be informed if a student has any known medical conditions or taking any prescribed medication.

Students are required to supply their own transport to both the Pool sessions and the Open Water Dive site.

All fees are payable on booking.

TR = Theory Revision CW = Confined Water (Swimming Pool) OW = Open Water (Qualifying dives)
