Specialty Courses 2026

Our specialty courses follow a set pattern of dates, times and locations

Theory is by eLearning and must be completed prior to the chosen course date of commencement.

Theory revision is by one Zoom session on the Tuesday evening prior to the Open Water dives, from 7pm - 9.30pm. See listed dates below.

Where specialties require a Confined Water session, this will be held in the 4th week of the month. Theory will be on the 4th Wednesday with the Confined Water and Open Water sessions on the weekend following. Confined Water in the Barry Leisure Centre from 12Noon - 4pm and Open Water sessions for certifying dives the Vobster Quay - Inland Water site, located between Bristol and Bath.

Requirements

All students must meet the pre-requisites for the specialty. Please go to the 'Course Cost' page and click on the relevant information tab to view details.

We must be informed if a student has any known medical conditions or taking any prescribed medication.

Students are required to supply their own kit and transport to both the Pool session(s) if required, and the Open Water Dive site.

Kit can be hired from Cardiff Scuba. All course and hire fees are payable on confirmation of booking.
