1  Course Fees

 

1.1        All courses are fully payable on booking

         1.1     Fees are binding and non-refundable.

         1.2     We strongly suggest that students take insurance should the need arise to make claim for cancellation.

  

2 Booking a Course

2.1     All Students be certain that they meet all the medical criteria for their course choice prior to studying.

2.2   Once manuals or other course materials have been issued, they are deemed the student's property and cannot be returned.

      

Any correspondence regarding late payments will incur a charge of (£5.00) five pounds per correspondence. 

Two breaches of a repayment scheme will lead to mandatory payment of all course fees in addition to all incurred charges in full. 

 

Diving is weather dependent; hence we reserve the right to change the dive site or dive date at short notice. Cardiff Scuba, is not liable for any loss due to cancellation as a result of inappropriate weather conditions. Students are advised to take out insurance to mitigate any such circumstances leading to loss of payments.

 

Changing course dates

 

Should the students need to make a change to the original course date, it may be possible to transfer dates once at no extra charge - if places are available on other courses.  However, any subsequent postponement or cancellation will incur loss of all fees paid.

Administration and Self Study

​

You will be required to complete and sign various course documentation before each course including, but not limited to a course learning agreement, a safe diving practices statement, a liability release and a medical form to include a Covid-19    statement.  Copies of these may be obtained ahead of time from Cardiff Scuba.

 

As we follow an e-learning programme for the theory component of courses you will be required to complete pre-course work in readiness for the theory review session. This is carried out using a Zoom online session/s. Your booking deems that you agree to complete the pre-course work by the relevant deadline.

 

Inclusions & Exclusions

 

Course Materials & Certification are included in your course fee. Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and Instructor  Registration Fees are not included and are payable directly to SDI / PADI.

Equipment and gas fills are not provided for any course other than Experience Programmes, and Open Water Diver. Equipment hire for other courses is available at a reduced charge of £25 for the course duration. We must stress that you are liable for the cost for repair or replacement of equipment you damage or lose during your course or during a period of hire.  

Course fees do not include travel, entrance fees, accommodation costs or boat fees - if applicable.
