"I highly recommend this course and the extremely professional way in which Cardiff Scuba teach it.
As a PADI MSD with 140+ dives I very quickly realized I was ill prepared and poorly practiced in dealing with a lot of the realistic scenarios that Ian put me through.
However over the 4 days I became much more aware of the environment, my equipment set-up and my buddy's set-up, as well as how to deal with multiple issues and minimize task loading.
Brilliant course and extremely thorough and rigorous training.
Thank you Ian and Cardiff Scuba"

"A thoroughly professional and well run course by Ian. I was definately challenged and progessed to a new level thorughout this course, with Ian ensuring all the skills were well covered and no corners cut. Ian ensured during the training dives we were under stress with equipment failures and would regularly throw in a few surprises, which has definately made me a better and more aware diver than I was a week ago. Completing the course in the NDAC proved a great training site and and am 100% satisfied with the overall course experience, would definately choose Ian and Cardiff Scuba for any subsequent Tech courses."

"Having recently completed my TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Theory with Cardiff Scuba, I can not praise them enough. The three of us undertaking this course are due to go to Scapa Flow at the start of Oct and we all wanted to ensure that we had this certification under our belt before going. In order to ensure this Cardiff Scuba agreed that we could do our course in Stoney Cove as this was the only available site that is open all week which meant that for those of us who have the misfortune to have to work on weekends it would not interfere with our working lives.
From start to finish the course was highly informative yet made enjoyable by Ian Mills the instructor, who I have always found to be both extremely knowledgeable and also very approachable.
For anyone looking to take their diving to a different level this course is a must, however the skills learnt are beneficial to all aspects of diving. Having completed several courses with them now I have always found them to be a professional set up of the highest degree whilst ensuring that their students enjoy the course.
Thanks also to Scott and Roberto for adding to the whole Stoney experience.
Cheers Marc

"I found Cardiff Scuba by chance whilst searching the internet for TDI instructors. I am very glad I did.
From first contact, the service received was superb. Ian (the instructor) worked with us to find a convenient date and organised a boat and accommodation at Plymouth. At the last minute, good old British weather meant a change of location to the NADC at Chepstow.
I have been diving for 8 years and thought I was reasonably experienced but I realised that there is ALWAYS something new to learn in diving. The course was probably one of the most difficult I have ever undertaken but Ian was first class as instructor. He explained and demonstrated things clearly, the course was well structured and his patience was endless. For good measure, he threw just about every possible scenario of things that 'could' go wrong on a dive at us and I have definitely come away feeling a better diver as well as learning all the physics of Advanced Nitrox and Decompression procedures.
Thanks also to Chris for his many helpful tips, dry humour and for lending me so much 'spare' kit. (Even if I did hate your reel!).
I live on the other side of the country in Cambridgeshire but will not hesitate to travel to Cardiff scuba for all future training and highly recommend them."
