Course Comments...
Below are comments from previous customers who have taken this course. If you have taken this course with us within the past six months please feel free to post your comments.
"Having just completed my Open Water, followed swiftly by my Advanced Open Water (with a speciality Dry suit) I want to recommend and thank Rob, Ian, Mark and their team of cheerful assistant divemasters.
Rob inspired confidence in each of the participants on the course.
The priority at each stage was on safety, with at least a one-to-one ratio throughout both courses whilst diving (on many occasions there were two accompanying each student).
Both courses were well organised and controlled, with good humour throughout.
To the coldwater phobes out there, or those who wish to dive in the UK year round, I wholeheartedly endorse the dry suit course. Slightly like being clingwrapped to begin with but oh my socks stayed dry the whole time despite being 25m underwater (lovely!)
The Open Water course provided an invaluable introduction to diving and my confidence has greatly improved following the Advanced Open Water course. The AOW course enables you to build on the skills you have started to learn and was nicely paced.
Thank you to all involved. I thoroughly recommend both courses with Cardiff Scuba to anyone considering taking a diving course.
And Rob a big thanks for letting me hold your hand when needed !
"
From Angharad Davies, course taken August 2010
"Many thanks yet again to Rob and his band of merry men at Cardiff Scuba for getting me through my Advanced Open Water course. I would highly recommend this course to everyone as it takes things a little further than the Open Water course and requires more thinking on the part of the diver and offers a little bit more freedom.
As usual, the level of detail was fantastic and safety was always at the forefront of Rob's leadership. This attention to detail was evident when an incident involving one of the support staff occured at about 24m. Rob and his team immediately sprang in to action and resolved the issue without any fuss and the dive was able to continue. Seeing the team under Rob's leadership carry out such an efficient and swift response was a sight to be seen and this reinforced my trust in their safety skills.
I intend to continue full speed with my diver traqining (finances allowing) and I'm looking forward to my first boat trip with Cardiff Scuba.
Finally, thanks again to everyone for all their help, encouragemet and fun."
From Jason Rochefort, course taken August 2010
"I would like to say a huge thank you to Rob, Mark and the rest of the gang who helped make the course really interesting and also great fun at the same time!
I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge from the course which I will use as I continue my diving.
PADI Rescue Course next. And Rob, I promise not to rent a drysuit with latex seals ever again!"
From Craig Lish, course taken June 2010
"Rob is a legend, Mark is too! Thanks Cardiff Scuba for a fantastically run course. Cant wait to book up for another one. I might even give Rob his drysuit back one day!"
From Ian Flintham, course taken June 2010
