What We Offer

Cardiff Scuba Dive Academy prides itself in the quality of the training it provides, in the classroom, in the swimming pool and on Open Water dives.

Our main focus is on providing a safe environment where students can learn and develop, secure in the knowledge that they are being supported by knowledgeable and experienced Instructors committed to providing a high quality service.

We are recognised locally and nationally for both the quality and frequency of our many courses. Our programme is planned for a full year so that individuals can look ahead and undertake courses on dates that suit their lifestyle. (See our course calendar for courses offered and places available).

Most courses follow the same  basic structure:

  • A theoretical component (Classroom)
  • A confined water component (Swimming pool)
  • An Open Water component (Inland water site or Open sea)

To ensure continuity of quality, each course has a lead Instructor who oversees the course from start to finish. The instructor is supported by Divemasters and other experienced staff.

We are a busy school and as such we have 8 Instructors and 2 Course Directors available to us ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained on all of our courses.

We also enjoy excellent working relationships with Statutory Agencies together with the support of the local HSE executive who have provided us with sound guidance and advice on all aspects of Health & Safety.

We follow PADI standards requirements for all of our courses. This ensures that our students have access to SCUBA diving with certification that is recognised worldwide.

We also work in collaboration with several other local dive schools and where required deliver servies on a joint basis so that we share the vast range of experience available across the full range of courses offered.

We offer courses from the following training agencies...
