Here are some comments from our previous customers....

"Recently completed my Dry Suit course with Simon. A pool session in the week and 2 x open water dives at the NDAC Chepstow on the Saturday. Although I may have a few warm-water wetsuit dives in my logbook, this was my first venture into a drysuit.
I have to thank Simon for making the experience pleasurable and informative (above the manual content). Simon worked through the course content at a leisurely, sensible learning pace and was always reassuring.
Leading up to the course I had several pieces of equipment serviced/tested by Cardiff Scuba. Every contact has been, as it should be, but often isn't in all establishments, an easy and satisfying experience. Many thanks to all at Cardiff Scuba.

From Richard Hallaran - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken June 2018

"If you're thinking of doing your Drysuit course - look no further than Rob & the team at Cardiff Scuba!

The course itself is, surprisingly, one of the most enjoyable specialities I've done to date! Given where I am on my diving journey the dives allowed me to hone some of my buoyancy skills and learn to make the most out of the Dry suit.

If you've learnt in a Drysuit, or maybe have some dives under your belt in one, please do not think that you can skip this course! I learnt a lot... not just the stuff in the book but also some really practical tips, advice and input that will make my Drysuit diving even better!!

Rob was as always fantastic; his serious yet fun approach to teaching means that you feel that you have worked for the right to have that speciality. You leave feeling safe and confident that you can go forward, and with more practice, become a truly competent Drysuit diver.

Thanks Rob! :) "

From Richard Godfrey - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken August 2017

"Having started my PADI journey with Cardiff Scuba last year it was about time that I did the Dry Suit Course!

As always Rob was on hand to help, support and encourage all the way through the course.

The course itself focused on my buoyancy skills and left me feeling more confident after the two dives! I learnt some great techniques and as always with the team at Cardiff Scuba I knew I was learning from the best.

If your thinking of doing your Dry suit course - don't look anywhere else. Thanks - Amy xx"

From Amy Godfrey - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken August 2017

"This was my very first time diving with a Dry suit, and also diving in the UK.

Rob our instructor was both patient, attentive and very professional. The group size was kept small and we were provided excellent support and guidance throughout the course by both Rob our instructor and Fotus (sorry if I spelled this wrong) our DM.

The dry suit course was presented with the perfect mix of professionalism and fun and I thoroughly enjoyed taking this course.

I will definitely be returning for further PADI courses. "

From Martin Duffy - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken August 2017

"Had an amazing day down at Chepstow doing our Drysuit course. Rob was a fantastic instructor. His expertise was a close second to his professionalism and his patience!

A great instructor, a fantastic course and at a perfect location (ok, so it's not the Maldives!) We'll definitely be back to Cardiff scuba, highly recommended :-)"

From Emma Duffy - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken August 2017

"After a session of drysuit theory, I slipped into some fleece thermals and stepped into a neoprene drysuit for the first time.
Being used to a wetsuit it was a little strange at first with the snug neck seal and rear shoulder zip ( what if I need a wee in a rush ? ).
Wearing an extra 4kg, did a perfect buoyancy check, dealt with my wet arm via a small adjustment and off we went.
Enjoyed being spun upside down and the buoyancy exercises. Never been so warm in the quarry. The well fitting drysuit didn't give me any squeeze issues at depth when trialled in stages.
I now feel confident to drysuit a UK winter dive.
Many thanks as always to Simon and James for their diligence"

From Jason Cross - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken May 2017

"What an experience! We had a great time on our Padi Dry Suit course.

Rob, Simon and the team are professional, thorough and really very good fun.

After learning to dive on holiday we wanted to be able to dive in the UK and so we came to Cardiff Scuba for the dry suit course. It was fantastic! The guys worked really hard to make the whole thing run smoothly. We needed get our confidence with the different suit and Rob was great at explaining the theory and coaching us through the practical.

You can tell that these guys really know their stuff but they also make sure your having a good time whilst your learning.

We'll be back for some more dives soon!

From Jonah & Steve - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken November 2016

From Gwyn Nash - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken April 2014

"Hi All,

Thank you for all your help & support again this time on my recent Drysuit course.

It was so nice to get out of the water warm & dry for a change.

As always, safety is a top priority when diving with Cardiff Scuba.

Only wish I had done this course sooner, will now be making Rachel, my buddy, jealous as she is yet to do her course!!!

Thanks Rob & the assisting team for making yet another course so enjoyable. Look forward to the next course.

From Paul Harris - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken August 2009

"Comprehensive course that doesn`t take long and a must if you want to dive all year round in warmth.

Well instructed as always and you can`t say more than that."

From Alex Farah - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken May 2009

"Thanks Rob, just back from diving in the Maldives & straight into a drysuit course at NDAC!!

I've known you long enough to know what to expect but the squeeze at 18mts was an eye opener!

Cheers mate, great course & well worth doing.

From Paul Newby - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken April 2009

"Many thanks 2 every1 @ Cardiff Scuba - the usual suspects + 2 many more 2 mention! for their professionalism and humour (always the right mix 2 get the job done but still make it thoroughly enjoyable) on the PADI speciality dry suit course.

What an experience, hanging upside down, fins threathening 2 ping off, getting shrink wrapped at 18m, it all adds 2 the fun of UK diving!

I am now pleased to report I will be able to continue all through the winter without needing prescription medication to control withdrawal symptoms from my new found addiction to diving, lol.

Highly recommended, if only to loose those extra few pounds for Xmas without paying for a professional body wrap!

Look 4ward 2 the next 1."

From Jennifer Cometson - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken November 2008

"I'd spent the last two years diving in my semi-dry, so what a treat to experience the quarry in mid September in my new drysuit. It really was as comfy and as dry as they all say!

Many thanks to you, Rob, once again - for your guidance, enthusiasm and obvious passion for diving. I felt safe and confident throughout in what was a completely new experience for me.

I haven't done a course with you for a while but coming away from this one reminded me of the fun I had with my OW and AOW. Mr Ellis and I will be signing up for the Rescue Course early 2009 and some more of the Speciality courses too. Thanks again mate. Marc."

From Marc Powell - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken September 2008

"What a great course. Many thanks Rob and all involved at Cardiff Scuba.

Thanks to Rob for the Open water drysuit training. I know I said I'd never have a dry suit Rob, but youv'e convinced me and once you dive in one in cold water they're the best.

From David Seabourne - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken March 2008

"I was initially attracted to enrol on this course as it offered me the potential to increase my dive season and an opportunity to learn more new skills, which applied directly to the type of environment I am interested in diving in.

Having completed the AOW with Rob last September, the drysuit course was conducted in the exact same manor of high standards, with a huge emphasis on saftey and the supportive encouragement of personal development as a diver.

The whole experience was great fun and so a special thank you to Rob and also Andy and Gary (who are awsome DM's) for looking out for me! Rescue course here I come!!!"

From Richard Ryder - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken February 2008

"Brilliant Course. I really felt I learnt a lot. Totally changed my preconceptions of Dry-Suit Diving. Big thanks to Rob whose professionalism and fun made for a great SCUBA experience."

From Craig - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken February 2008

"Open Water in Turkey (2005), AOW, Nitrox and Deep (U.K.) with another school since then. I've known Rob and Ian for the last two years and watched Rob instruct my daughter. I have been aware that their first priority has always been safety. Having now completed my first course with them I can only say I am truly impressed with their depth of knowledge and ability to train in a relaxed but totally professional manner. I look forward to my Rescue Diver course.
Many thanks Rob, Andy and Gary."

From Mike Hurley - PADI Drysuit Diver, course taken February 2008

"Again an excellent course. I always have so much fun with this group - the professionalism and teaching is second to none but without fail we have a laugh!
Having done my drysuit course I am now kitted out to dive through the winter months in this country.
Thanks to Rob, Ian and all the other divemasters/trainee divemasters.
Look out - I'll be doing the Rescue Diver Course next!!
